Can the word "No" be positive? Well, in this case it is!

1) No untried, untested, unrealistic, flashy or hypothetical techniques taught by well-meaning, committed, but unwordly teachers. Instead, learn truthful, direct and effective self-defence skills from instructors who have first hand experience of conflict, aggression, and violence.

2) No stifling of progress and self-expression for the sake of "tradition" - instead you experience rapid learning, empowerment and progress. However, please note that we teach a morally and legally sound system. S.A.F.E. is no shortcut to fighting mastery for thugs. Only reasonable, decent people need apply.

3) No waiting for years to "graduate" onto "serious" techniques or defence against weapons. Start learning defences against empty hand, knife, stick, gun, ground and multiple attacks from the outset. The information is for you and other decent people just like you - here and now!

4) No dogma. We will teach you what you need to know to survive a violent encounter, (the physical and the psychological) using modern principles of teaching and learning in an organic, vibrant, supportive, respectful and safe environment. There is no blind attachment to tradition.

5) No traditional and expensive uniforms.

6) No hierachy or elitism.

7) No mystique.

8) No Oriental terminology.

9) No requirement to buy equipment.
